The New Lawn Company use quality turf and topsoil to ensure long-lasting lawns that look vibrant and healthy.

With this in mind, we have a trading partnership with INTURF, the leading national supplier of turf and associated products. We offer several grades of turf to suit your individual project.

INTURF Masters - Their standard production is fescue / bent mature turf.
INTURF Classic - A high-quality turfgrass mixture designed to provide the basis for hard-wearing lawns, golf courses and formal gardens with an ornamental appearance.
INTURF Rhizomatous Tall Fescue (RTF) - the UK’s first turf bred for climate change. This turf has been affectionately labelled Really Tough Turf and performs well in drought, doesn’t mind being waterlogged, is shade tolerant, salt tolerant and incredibly hard-wearing.

Each of these turfs is more suitable for specific circumstances, such as soil type and use. We will work with you to understand how you aim to use your new lawn and what the soil is like in your area. From there, we will recommend the most appropriate turfing.

Preparing for a New Lawn

When you build a house, you ensure the foundations are laid, and laying your lawn is no different.

If you don’t carry out the correct preparation then you will not get the finish you are looking for. This is why we will typically complete several stages of preparation, including rotovating, stone-raking and fertilising the ground before we rake level and supply a high-quality, cultivated lawn turf to a flat and level finish.

Every project is different, which is why we provide you with our method statement for a transparent approach so you can know what to expect from us and when. This helps us to deliver the best results time and again.

Top Soil

Offered in tonne bags or loose, we supply various grades of topsoil directly to your site from as little as half a tonne to 100 tonnes.

Each grade has specific attributes designed to suit individual requirements. All grades of topsoil offered are screened and meet at least BS 3882.

Our Turf Services

Bark Mulch

As well as turf and topsoil, we can supply Bark Mulch for your lawn. Like our topsoil, this comes in different grades that suit different uses and is supplied in tonne bags or loose.

Grades include:

Loose Bark Mulch - Functional and affordable mulch that’s ideal for flower beds and borders.
Bulk Bag INTURF high-quality general-purpose bark mulch - very functional but attractive as it’s mixed with conifer bark. The nominal particle size of 35 - 60mm. This bark is also BS4790 fire-tested.
Bulk Bag INTURF premium quality bark mulch - A deluxe pure pine bark certificated to BS EN 1177: 1998 standards. This bark has a particle size of 18 - 35mm and is an extremely long-lasting product. A specific advantage of this bark is that it won’t leave dirty marks on children’s clothing, making it ideal for children’s play areas. This bark is also BS4790 fire-tested.
