Keble College is one of the finest examples of Victorian Gothic architecture. Its architect, William Butterfield, wanted simple formal lawns to set off his buildings, most especially Liddon Quad, one of the largest and grandest in the University of Oxford with the College Chapel on its north side and the Library and Hall on its south. For many years the College had wanted to improve the quality of the lawn and when, at last, funds became available we appointed Danny and his team from the New Lawn Company to undertake this very high profile project. Danny is passionate about his work, and brings to it a pride, a sense of ownership and a fanatical attention to detail, combined with an absolute commitment to deliver what the customer wants. He also understands the challenges of tight timescales and working in a fully occupied space. We could not have been more delighted with the result: for everyone who comes to the College their first view is of Liddon Quad, and their invariable response is Wow!
